Default Wheel Change Around

How often should you change the road wheels around, and in what order.

Only time I change is when I fit new tyres to the front, those wheels are moved to the back so the new tyres end up on the back.

Front tyres should be moved to the back and remain on the same side, Rear tyres should be brought forwards and crossed from one side to the other, for example your rear left tyre will become your front right tyre. that's how they are on the FL2 and most likely the same for any car.

Worth a read.

That's not possible with directional tyres, unless they are removed from the wheels, turned around and refitted.

I've never quite understood the theory that the best tyres should be on the rear of the vehicle, expecially on a front wheel drive.
If the conditions are so poor that the rear end is expected to lose grip then, I'd argue any advantage gained with good rear grip will be outweighed by the loss of traction, steering and braking at the front end.

I'm a sucker for chevron pattern directional tyres
