Cool Where to get a turbo refurbished

I have two spare turbo’s and was wondering if I can get one of them refurbished. Can anyone recommend a place to get it done. Banana is still running with her original turbo, so a good spare with be worth having.

what does it cost to have the turbo repaired ? you can buy a cartridge for them for £75 or a full one for £170. yeah they are aftermarket parts but I read a brand new genuine one was around £300.

A lot of these cheap Cartridges are made in China, I was talking to a chap who had fitted one of these to his car, it did work but after a few months it failed, the supplier reckoned the warranty period was measured in weeks.

A genuine Mitsubishi TD04 core is going to cost over £200 but comes with a 12 month warranty, a Chinese copy is as you have said £70 ish but with a very limited warranty, for the amount of work needed to replace on most cars I would happily pay the extra

yeah I agree with the chinese stuff, but saying that the quality of some parts from china are getting better. but as a cheap repair and put it to one side as a back up could be worth it
