![]() I have two spare turbo’s and was wondering if I can get one of them refurbished. Can anyone recommend a place to get it done. Banana is still running with her original turbo, so a good spare with be worth having.

![]() what does it cost to have the turbo repaired ? you can buy a cartridge for them for £75 or a full one for £170. yeah they are aftermarket parts but I read a brand new genuine one was around £300.

![]() A lot of these cheap Cartridges are made in China, I was talking to a chap who had fitted one of these to his car, it did work but after a few months it failed, the supplier reckoned the warranty period was measured in weeks.
A genuine Mitsubishi TD04 core is going to cost over £200 but comes with a 12 month warranty, a Chinese copy is as you have said £70 ish but with a very limited warranty, for the amount of work needed to replace on most cars I would happily pay the extra |

![]() I had a spare Bob and looked into getting it refurbed,I was quoted £200 +.
DMGRS have brand new OE ones for £300,that is the route I will be taking if/when needed.
