I have used one of the logos in this thread and it shows when I first switch the satnav on, I have another logo which shows when the satnav is loading showing the blue bar going from left to right. How do I change this logo for the one I have on my SD card please?. Thanks, John.

I take it you're running Igo 8? If so, it's pretty straight forward:
  • pop the SD card with iGo 8 into your PC and navigate to the folder IGO834\Branding zip\ui_igo8\800_480.
  • Replace the file "Loading.bmp" with the pic of your coice. (has to be size 800x480 and in .bmp format I believe)

You can also replace the background "wallpaper" in Igo 8:
  • pop the SD card with iGo 8 into your PC and navigate to the folder IGO834\data.zip\uigo8\800_480\background.
  • Add the pic you want to that folder (again size 800x480 in bmp format)
  • Replace the SD card in the double din and run iGo (admiring your new splash screen while it loads )
  • From the menu in iGo 8 select "settings", then "Menu". You should have a list of backgrounds to chose from, including the one you added.

Just to be on the safe side, I would also recommend backing up any original files before replacing them.

Hope this helps,

Cliff

Doh!!

From memory, the procedure is pretty much the same, but some folder names may be different (i.e not Igo834!). Essentially, you need to look for the folder "Branding.zip" and then drill down 'till you find a file called "Loading.BMP". This file is the splash screen pic, so you can replace it with whatever you like (as long as its size 800x480 in bmp format).

Sadly, I haven't yet been able to change the wallpaper in Primo, so if anyone else knows......

Best of luck,

Cliff
