Hi Sean, thanks for the response. There were other users higher up this thread who were also reporting an issue with the '+' being stripped from phone numbers. I'm not sure how to just import certain numbers. I've tried deleting and re-uploading the contacts list, with the same result. My list works on other Bluetooth devices, so I think it may be that the software is only accepting numbers 0-9 and removing anything else? Yes I have a large number, but the star is successfully importing them all, its just those which have a +44 or +33 entry end up as 44... or 33..etc so cannot be called.

Not finding satellites.

I tried different programs and it was obvious there was no GPS happening on the unit.

HI Marcus

Sounds like a GPS Antenna Issue, Can you try it out from behind the radio, check the connections. They do go dead sometimes, we have more.

Keeping fingers crossed for a few hours time.

Cheers

Having disconnected the battery for around 4 hours, I went out to the car last night, reconnected the battery and hey presto the buttons were all working again. Switched off and went to bed a happy bunny that at least that problem was resolved. NO NO NO, I've just been out to the car to try some more TTS voice solutions to find the buttons are not working again.
Battery disconnected again and I will see what happens in a few hours time.

In the meantime can anyone help with this? In IGO "settings/sounds and warnings/volume" when I have a "normal" voice selected I get a system and a voice volume slider, but when the TTS voice is selected I only get a system volume slider. Is this perhaps a clue as to why I cannot control volume levels of the TTS voice?

Can anyone who has a TTS voice working on the Navall Star kindly take a look at theirs and see if it's the same? Thanks in advance.

Stuart

Not sure what is going on now. Just reconnected the battery after about 5 hours but this time buttons are still not working. Any suggestions (polite ones) would be very welcome.

Thanks

Without going back through the thread, have you tried pressing the recessed reset button on the unit?

Hi Jeff

Yes I've used the reset button and battery disconnection approaches to no avail!
