See one by Fusion which took an ipod but was single din and no call function or video playback. The pioneer looks a good start.

Maybe I'm wrong, but IMHO the optical drive is used mostly for audio/music. I don't see the attraction of a DVD playing double din, unless you have rear screens. And then it needs to be a dual zone headunit........

Damm I knew something like this would happen!!! Just ordered a Dynavin unit from Sean along with the separate Dynavin DVB-T unit!!!!

I wish you all the luck getting this unit onto the market place.

One BIG thing I would have liked was a DAB radio (in-built) my current Vauxhall has it and its great!!!

I would be 100% keen on acquiring one of these units.
However my, soon to be mine, ZT is only single din, so I'll have to get modifying etc.

Would it be possible to have the new unit to be compatible with a reverse camera.? So it displays on screen.?

Hi Ross,

The OEM unit you have is just fitted in a double din fascia, the replacement unit would replace the existing unit, the reverse cam can be set on the wiring so it automatically switch's over the screen so you will see the rear of the car reversing.

Hi Ross,

Yes a very easy job, the hardest part is running the wire to the reversing camera in the boot, you have two options either a wireless set up to the head unit or a hard wired (both options need a reversing feed to the camera) and then a reverse switched feed to the head unit (which might seem a little complicated but is easy to find)
