Strange that the CDT exhaust doesn't fit, I can get a pic of the part number from the system I fitted today if that helps?

I haven't got the time or patience to do what you did Bri, and for £30 for a nearly new Klarius.. I took the easy option.

I straightened out the arm on my Headlamp levelling unit. It came back bent after the clutch shop replaced it in the wrong position. I can't really fault them as this was the first ZT they had ever seen. Spending an hour straightening the arm was certainly better than doing the clutch myself!
While I had the front up on stands I replaced the disintegrating Shannon tube with tubular ducting. Another small job off the list.

Carpets dry and back in, seats replaced along with all the trim. that's a lesson well learned - should have fixed those sunroof drain tubes years ago!!!

Footwell lights
Fitted some front footwell lights to my 75
They are connected to the interior light so they fade to off as well. I was fitting these at 7.00am. Sad man! Note to self:- Get the VAC out

In anticipation of a European road trip, I thought it prudent to investigate the rattle on the OSF which has developed over the past week or so.
Easily identifiable as soon as the car was jacked up, the track rod end was shot. So bearing in mind it's Sunday, I checked ECP, yes they have three in stock of a brand I've never heard of in my life. £23.99, but with their discount of 37% a shade over £15, so I opt for click and collect. Off ff I trot in Mrs MB's car to Team Valley, to find a huge queue, and 30 minutes later I'm walking out of the door with a tatty box in my hand. Suspicious of the box, I opened it up to find some random looking bit inside, so back in to let them exchange it for the right part Back home, the new TRE was fitted in under ten minutes, and the car after a test drive is back to silent over rough surfaces. I doubt the new part will last as long as the original did, but it might outlast the car Brian |
