Hi Jennifer,

List updated, I'm seeing Steve tomorrow; he who drove Jan & I to Frimley, before my licence was reinstated.

He'll be a definite, as long as he's not mending his daughters car.

Regards

Mike & Jan

Hi Mike,
I'm registering interest in meeting up with other owners in the future,

but whilst I'm still perusing the adds for a decent 75, I'll hold fire on actually attending.

Many thanks for your post, Dave.

It took me a long time to find the car, that got me back to 75's, albeit as a private (non company) car.

There are 2 other members in your part of Kent, who are also showing interest.

I'll post their club names tomorrow for you.

Regards

Mike

Hi Dave,
If you are interested in acquiring a 75 why not join us, would be delighted to meet you and show you our cars. I am on my 3rd 75 in 17 years, I only joined after purchasing my 3rd and so wish had known about the club before. I have had huge pleasure and support from the club.
The really unique thing about the 75 is the way you can change and customize the car. Spent 4 years doing just that. Every time I look at it brings a smile and huge pleasure to drive.
Please come and join us.

Adding to Jennifer's comments, I agree that with the information and expertise on the Club, one can find people who can work magic, in helping us maintain our cars.

Mike, early days in arranging the meets but I hope all goes well. I hope also that your continued recovery is progressing well?

Hi Dave

Because you don’t own a Rover 75, if I may say, it should not exclude you from attending the meet. I have met the people going to the meet, they are all genuine, down to earth enthusiasts and at some of the meets sometimes there is someone else who has a car to sell, or knows someone in the trade, you could be lucky Over the years I have been to many meets across the UK and made lots of friends.

Phil

Dave47,
The two members that I mentioned earlier both live in Folkestone.

Sonestarick, joined April 2016
Grizzlyman, joined July 2010

Seems to me that you have a good chance of getting together, either via the open forum, or the clubs' private message facility.

If done by the forum, there is a liability disclaimer that needs to be incorporated; simply copy it from post 1, on this thread.

Just a thought here, maybe two, or all three might drive over in one car, for breakfast on the 9th June.

Thanks to Planenut, Raven Black and Gate Keeper, for kind words.

Regards

Mike

Cool

I cannot attend the 9th June meet but will try and come to another meet at some point. I’ll make it a long weekend trip.
