![]() Hi Michael. I was a complete novice but have managed to remove two carpets. Unfortunately I don't have a ppd.. You need to take out the front seats, internal trim and the centre console. After that it's brute strength.
You will need a special bit, similar to a Torx bit, to get the seats floor bolts out. I'm sure someone will tell you the proper name of the bit needed. Oh, and an 18" or 2' ratchet extension makes the bolt job a lot easier. After removing the seat floor bolts, disconnect the battery and go for a cuppa. there is a capacitor in the airbag system that needs about 20minto drain, to be on the safe side. Disconnect the connectors under the seats and a wire coming out of the floor, before removing the seats. this will then give you plenty of room for taking the other stuff out. There is probably a How-to for it in that section. ![]() EDIT - the name of the bit is a Ribe bit.
