Default windscreen wiper chatter

Is this true?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0I-obFmADE

Is below the reason why the fix is not permanent? Also taken from YouTube

This is a fix, but doesn't show the root cause. Now, after doing this fix, if you were to install new blades, you would have to re bend the arm again, or else it would then cause that sound during the down-sweep, rather than the up-sweep. The root cause is the blade always rests in the down-sweep. It bends the rubber and locks it into the down-sweep position.

If you installed new blades on a new arm, and then it rained and you used the wipers non-stop, it will never develop that Skippy noise.

It's the rest position, the pressure and the dry heat that ruins wiper blades.

Essentially yes, so you have to live with the solution offered.

Thanks
I fitted new blades and as it rained today got the chance to use them. Cleared the screen better.
I'll try the fix on my other car

Traffic film is the biggest cause of juddering wipers, clean the screen with some very strong detergent or even some pressure wash detergent on a sponge but make sure you wash it off properly.

Diesel fumes and tyre debris are the two biggest causes of traffic film.
