Plenty of good advice on here about replacements (and Martrim, a highly recommend supplier is just 20 miles away from me) but do we know what the material was originally used by MGR - brushed nylon, Alcantra or something else?

Nobody knows. It is my dilemma as well. Some years ago I-ve request samples to Martrim but none was a good match. If You-re 20 miles away from them I would suggest to go with the car and find the best match. Then, please, share here.
