![]() Hello All
I wonder if anyone can tell me the fuse number that protects the Brake Lights? Presume its in the Glovebox fusebox? Mine is a facelift car with small fuses. Due to old age and a bad back I was hoping to go straight for it! My normal response would be to drive to the garage but with no Brake Lights I better have a look!! ![]() |

![]() Check the switch for adjustment by the pedal.
Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk Can sometimes be adjusted by pulling towards the pedal but difficult for you with a bad back?

![]() More likely to be a problem with the switch. There is not a separate fuse for the lighting circuits, the power feed to the Light Switch Module is via the two 50 amp fusible links 9 & 11 in the engine compartment fuse panel. Control of the different lighting circuits is by the electronics in the LSM itself. The 5 amp fuse in the passenger fuse panel is a 'control' feed to the LSM.

![]() if its the brake switch on the pedal, and you have a bad back,
dont do it, you need to be a contortionist to do the switch. |

![]() When my pedal switch slipped the brake lights stuck on. Tried to fit a new switch (careful, there are two types, one works the other doesn't) and had to give up. Gave my mechanic buddy 30 quid to fit it, worth every penny.
