Default Popped my cherry....well, tyre

Popped out the other day to take a picture. On the way back, I heard a flapping noise coming from my car. Sounded like a flat tyre but car was driving ok. Stopped and checked outside and all tyres looked fine. Looked underneath the car, nothing obvious. Kept driving. Noise was still present. Just came off the 60mph back road into Kirkcaldy and boom. Got out of car and rear drivers side tyre was flat. Obviously got a puncture. Could of been an egg or something inside the tyre that started. Didn't have a bar with me to take the wheel off so parked it up and walked the hour trip home.

Finances are a bit tight right now with some unexpected things coming up with the car causing issues. Bought a good used 2nd hand tyre online. Cheap as chips. Waiting for it to arrive so I can fit that. Running about in the smelly, stinky tourer for the time being. No working Windows wnd no air con!

Never had a puncture before.

BOOM!

Parked up looking sorry for itself. Anyone want bits from it?

That's true. Jack it up and put the flat bit at the top and drive home.

Haha. Colin came to my rescue. No spare. Thanks to Doopydug who gave me his spare Union wheel with a good tyre for me to get around. Now, have to sort out the other million things wrong with the car. Grrrr...
