Default How to install Synergy 2A diesel tuning box - How?

Hi,
I sked the mechanic to take out the box and now I want to put it back in again!!
But how? All I can find on internet and here is this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUzjuCXbMNI
Ron's site is not very helpful in this respect.

Lots of info on adjusting it ...

I have two leads coming from the box not just one as I've seen in some Freelander and Mondeo videos.
So I have 4 connectors to fit.

Do we have a video showing how to fit the 4 connector version?
Many thanks

From memory --- the long lead. Unplug the MAF (near the oil filler cap), and plug it into the corresponding plug on the long lead, the other one plugs into the hole left when you unplugged the maff..

Repeat the plugging system with the short leads using the plug near (to the left of) the battery side of the engine.

Keep the main unit tucked into the space at the end of (inside) the battery box....

I think that's right... *crosses fingers*....

In essence the post is correct. However things can go a bit wrong by the connections. Neither of the plugs on the synergy that I have are keyed, effectively they can go in either way round. The engine will run either way, but the wrong way on the fuel pressure rail will starve fuel and the engine won't respond to throttle pedal. This I found the hard way, but sorted it out in the end. The same will go on at the MAF end, but there wont be any problems like the fuel pressure being wrong. My VT-4 gave me the MAF ranges I needed, so got off lightly really with a great tool.
I can advise on colour matching to pin asignation if you really need it, but wont be able to do this until tomorrow.
Drop me a PM if you want the info.

Roverron is a trader on here, look out for his advert above and click on his link. He has detailed info on there.
As mentioned below, the plug onto the MAF can go either way. White dot points towards the fender iirc.

Try here.

Thanks, but what you say above is all Greek to me. I don't know where to find any of the points, Maf or not!!

Is there a photo sequence that someone has done ? There's nothing I understand on Ron's site!
So, I've written to him.
