Tailgate Release on ZT-T
The touch button release for the tailgate on my ZT-T packed in this weekend (in the peeing rain) on arriving at caravan site with loads of bits I need in the back of the car! Managed to access via the remote by holding it down for longer period of time but obviously not the handiest when keys are elsewhere. The button just appears stuck with the rubber cover appearing permenantly depressed. Is this repairable or is there a part I need to order and is this easy diy fix? All advice welcomed.
Thanks Graeme

Hi, you can prise out the rubber button cover with a small screwdriver and then simply push fit the rubber button cover back into place. Fairly common fault if you press it too hard at the wrong angle, this should get you going again...

Thanks for that, did as you described, additionally heated the rubber cover before refitting and pressed it back into shape. Job done excellent fix, thanks for the advice.
Cheers Graeme.
