You can also replace the background "wallpaper" in Igo 8:
Just to be on the safe side, I would also recommend backing up any original files before replacing them. Hope this helps, Cliff

Doh!!
From memory, the procedure is pretty much the same, but some folder names may be different (i.e not Igo834!). Essentially, you need to look for the folder "Branding.zip" and then drill down 'till you find a file called "Loading.BMP". This file is the splash screen pic, so you can replace it with whatever you like (as long as its size 800x480 in bmp format). Sadly, I haven't yet been able to change the wallpaper in Primo, so if anyone else knows...... Best of luck, Cliff

On the PC. Just pop the card into a card reader and use Windows Explorer.

Hi Gents,
In anticipation of my Android unit I got from Sean I decided to have a go with some start-up screens to get me in the mood. Since I have a Black Oak dash I decided that the start-up logo's should be based on this. I "borrowed" the background from ratsalad (Tx! John) and experimented a bit. No rights reserved Use them and adapt them to your need! Greetz, Sjonnie PS. I tried to thank John for his post but don't know how (gosh, I feel like a noob ) Last edited by Sjonnie; 19th January 2014 at 13:35.. |

Thanks, but I don't deserve the credit, I just used the backgrounds already in this thread and adapted them, much the same as you have
