help with symphony head unit

hi all i have a smll problem with my symphoney head unit when the ignition is in position 2 all is ok but when i start the car up the radio goes into phone mute intermittently and i cant turn it off have tried swapping the head unit but it still happens anyone have any clues to the fault

The phone mute cable is in pin 1 of the power ISO connector, it is Green/Red (or Red/Green?). Make sure it is not touching Earth, as that is what switches the on the phone mute.

excellent, have the same problem and about to ask the same question. I know what i'm checking tomorrow. not that i'm to worried as swapping out the symphony for my dvd headunit
