Default Narrowboating.

As this sub-section of the forum has become a little moribund, here's a pic I took last Sunday. A narrowboat, a steam train and a pub all in the same photo. What's not to like?

I know. For some reason it hasn't appeared, even though if you click "quote" it appears to be in the body of the text. I've posted pics on the forum before and they've always appeared correctly so I don't know what I've done wrong this time. So I tried to delete the post but this isn't possible.

Might be that your photo exceeds the permitted size for the forum to host it.

I prefer to upload my images to a site such as Flickr and copy the URL code and paste it into my topic.

This saves this forum space on their servers, gives you a handy cloud based photo back up of your images and also allows the image to be displayed larger and in better quality...A win Win all round

Look forward to seeing your photo when you get it on here.

I used a standard Imgur embedded code link, which has always worked on this forum in the past. Perhaps a mod can delete the thread as it's fairly pointless without the pic.

It's a great picture Vince. Were you inspired by O. Winston Link?
