Default TomTom on Navall 3. or previous Navall?

I have always been a Tom-tom person with my satnav, and was wondering if anyone has used it, and could give their impression over the Primo Igo

I had TomTom on the Navall 1. It needed some customisation, but it worked. The only downside was that it interfered with the sound from the radio. It would randomly turn the music app off and crashed when I restarted the mp3 app after it stopped playing.

I went into the iGo files to look what date they were and read this:
United_Kingdom_83_TomTom_2014.06_140908.
There are three files, one each of:
FBL
FSP
FTR.
It looks like the files are TomTom. If you backed up your iGo when you got your unit follow this to see:
Click primo high res
Click iGo
Click content
Click map
The files are at the bottom of the list.
What date are the latest iGo maps and are they TomTom?
Ken.

A customer Just put TOMTOM on their Navall 2

Comments :
The new TomTom app is brilliant.
Works smoothly on the Navall2, way better than Primo.
£14 per year for the best Traffic service ever.

Thank you for your help in setting it up😃

So... does this mean tomtom works on the navall 2?? Is it just a case of loading onto nav2 unit through google play? Last time I tried (some months ago...) the unit was supposedly incompatible???

The customer Sean and I spoke to said it was working fine on his Navall2 after downloading it, not tried it myself though so no promises

Took a while but seemed to download fine & runs OK.... they must have enabled it for more units in the last update (with the change to new "GO" interface...)??? Last time I tried it said it was incompatible ... anyway seems the same as on my phone which works really well... does this then mean it will work on Nav3 I wonder? I'll see how it works getting me to a nano meet at end of month

loaded in to Navall II no problem....

It has managed to change the name of my road, although the map position is spot on the name is wrong and the nearest station road is apparently 80 miles away

Don't know what the costs will be for the "Miles" but I am not impressed so far I have to say....

I will be sticking to my GO90 for now I think...

Have just used it today to get to and back from a nano meet... worked very well... also wife says it works fine for her... the only thing I haven't tried is the live traffic updates but for that I think I'd need to link the ddin to my phone??? wifi hotpot. .. usb tethering? ?? or something? I'm sure I read somewhere about how to get an Internet connection on the go through phone???
