Default Diagnostic tool for MG ZT V8

Could You please advise PC/Android software + cable or a complete scanner device to read errors and see realtime data for MG ZT V8?

I've tried loads of scanners on my 260 and not found any that do a thorough job.

If you want want basic OBD2 then quite a few will do that in limited fashion.

Even TOAF will not work well it, I've been trying to add a new key and it will not work .

On Amazon there are a Couple that work partially on a V8, from thinkcar and Mucar, both are over £100 .. but will connect and read various functions.
Bits work in Rover mode and other bits work in BMW mode.

And with amazon you can return it for a refund if not suitable ..

Would try the Thinkscan plus S4 first if its in your price range. https://shorturl.at/QsnVC

Thinkcar and MUCAR are basically the same company .

Desktop TOAF is discontinued if I am not mistaken. Options set (Diesel, 1.8 and V6s) is constant there for may years and I think Marcin will not support V8s in TOAF, because it is too rare model and it is hard to find a test-car to debug this software.

Thank You for reply.

For basic diagnostics I bought a cheap Autel autolink AL319 obd2 for under £30 off ebay. If you check it out it will tell you want info it gives.

I'll try to use Delphi DS150E (2-board OBD connector to USB) and Windows software Delphi Cars. It reads all parameters at 75 KV6 but can't code (write bytes to) ECU (set options and test fan/VISes, for example). Thank You!
