Does anyone have a driver's door lock available at reasonable cost? Many thanks!

It is theoretically possible to rebuild the door lock actuators by just replacing the motors within, new motors are even available from China. However, it is a fiddly and time consuming exercise. There's a "how to" here on an R50 Mini lock which is near identical:

Speaking of which, it is possible to fit R50 Mini door lock actuators to the 75. For the driver's side front, they're part number 0556767. When I did this previously, I did have to change a couple of bits over from the broken 75 one. The door pin is obviously different as is the cable for the interior door handle release. There is also a star shaped piece that interfaces with the "dog bone" for the manual key locking, the Mini version had a looser fit than the 75 so I swapped that over too.
